We just got pictures taken here today and I can't say how thrilled I am. Granted, I spent a lot more money than I planned to, but the pictures were so good I didn't care!
The whole experience takes 1-2 hours. We just walked in, though they do take appointments. The photographers hold the cameras rather than having them on stands which allows a lot more freedom. They just keep moving with the kids and take between 80 and 100 pictures. They do lots of poses, backgrounds and allow you to change outfits.
When the session is over you move to a large screen (like a 40 or 50" tv) where you immediately see all the pictures. This is definitely the hard part! They show you the pictures 3 at a time and you just eliminate the ones you don't like. You just keep narrowing it down till you have the package you want.
They offer a special for $9.99 that has a decent number of pictures from one pose and it goes up from there. The package I got was $100 and it came with 6 poses (3 sheets of each pose), 2 10x13 with special effects and a CD of the entire session that I can look at on the computer and bring back in for prints. Individual sheets are $15 a piece.
Our pictures turned out beautiful. Their system allows them to crop, rotate and resize pictures while you're sitting there. If they take a full body shot and you only like the face, they'll crop it to make it just a head shot. It's so great!
As you can tell I'm thrilled. We will be doing all of our pictures here from now on.
