If you are looking for an outstanding dining experience, I highly recommend the Lincoln Café in Mount Vernon. It’s nice respite from the cookie cutter menus available at the various chain restaurants. The chef typically offers three different special entrées for lunch and dinner in addition to the regular menu items. The servers are very professional and courteous. If you want a glass of wine, you’ll need to bring your own bottle. Lincoln Café does not have a liquor license, but they will decant your wine for you and provide you with glasses.
