My wife and I had the remodel from hell - halfway through demo, with the roof off and winter coming, we ran into unexpected foundation problems. In the end, we had to dig out 2/3 of our foundation, drive 85 steel pilings (and watch our hole in the ground fill with water for 2 unplanned months). Swenson Say & Faget were the folks that put us back on solid ground. We didn't have much contact with them (our architect hired them), but they cranked out the studies and structural recommendations that we needed to solve our problems.
