Before there were stores like Hot Topic and Torrid there was Chat Street--the original skater store. You wanted doc martins? Skating stuff? Stickers? Patches for your book bags or pants? Band buttons? Original and local music? Funny t-shirts? Chat Street was the place you went to.
Located downtown (as well as a now closed location the old Harundale Mall) this store was the "punk" and "gothic" hang out of the teens twenties crowd.
A unique store that has started a "trend" in more common "mall rat" hangouts.
