the shoe zoo is a great place for toddler shoes

Monday, April 24, 2006
i'm a working mom and impatient by nature so when i have to get something done, i want it done right, but also done quickly. recently my 11 month-old son needed his first pair of walking shoes. so off we went to shoe zoo on blakely behind uvillage. it was easy to get to, there was parking out front, when i walked in someone helped me (us) immediately and set us up with parker's first pair of walking shoes. it took like 3 minutes, and yet i felt like they took care to get the size right, lay out our options, help us compare etc. etc. it was thorough AND fast! and for those sleep deprived caffeine addicts out there, the new zoka is across the street. i love it. fyi, the only alternative i know about is nordies - but it's soooo much more difficult to drag a baby downtown. don't do it unless you just want to go to nordies for your own nefarious purposes (not that there's anything wrong with that).
