It's been awhile since I stayed there, but I have very fond memories of my experience. The weather was crisp and snowy, but the room was warm and cozy. Everything was setup for ultimate pampering, right down to the towel heaters. Even though it's in a sleepy, private mountain setting, it's still conveniently located near the fun town of Leavenworth as well as the amazing trails in the surrounding mountains. It's also worth mentioning that I also seem to hear about this place when friends return from staying there. It's just one of those places that everyone seems to fall in love with.

I had a great experience at the Red Door. The place wasn't too crowded on the night we were there. Food was good and I recall the prices being a bit lower than the average Seattle pub. It's big size and L shape helps it accommodate lots of people without feeling crowded. If you're looking for a happy hour option or meetup spot in Fremont, check them out.

All my experiences with Bill Mitchell have been very positive. He takes plenty of time with each visit to make sure you get a chance to tell him exactly what's ailing you. He then asks lots about various environmental lifestlye factors, family history and your previous medical history. This amount of dialog always makes me feel like he's taking care to investigate and understand the root causes rather than just addressing the most visible symptoms. Additionally, he's a really nice guy, very well informed, and doesn't shame you for straddling tradional meds with naturopathic ones (although he may give you a hard time if you admit to eating french fries).

A few months ago I decided to get my first road bike. After dropping in on several shops around town, the folks at Gregg's Cycle made the sale. They were very patient with all my stupid questions and helped me through the selection process. They also encouraged me to test ride many bikes until I found one that was a good fit. Even though I went in not knowing what to look for, they helped me feel like a much more informed shopper. I especially like how they didn't try to upsell me or pitch some knockoff model.
Since buying from Gregg's, I've had ongoing positive experiences with their service department. You get free service for the first month after purchase and then a free 90 day tune-up.

Pizza, calzones, sandwiches, paninis, salads -- all get thumbs up
Prices are great, portions are huge, and the service is friendly.
So if you're in the neighborhood for lunch, come on by. You might just see the Judy's Book team scribbling ideas on napkins.

If you have children, be sure to check out the kids reading room. I wish I had a place like that to go when I was younger.
Often city projects turn out dull and uninspired, but Seattle scored big this time. Be sure to show your appreciation by visiting often!
