No disrespect to the other reviews, but your complaints sound like they'd apply to any club in town. What Chop Suey does have is the best booking agent in town. Nowhere else will you find such commitment to bringing in the acts people really want to see, even when those acts don't fall under the exhaustingly trendy indie rock scene. There are a lot of great clubs in Seattle but Chop Suey gets my vote for front of the line.
