Kimmie's is a small cafe/diner in Brea. It's the sister restaurant to the original Kimmie's in Fullerton. While their menu is diverse, they are mainly a breakfast place. This is the best breakfast in Brea, hands down. The cooks should get some type of award from the city. Really.
The restaurant is casual, and homely. It's small, so there may be a wait for the table. The wait is definitely worth it.
Pricing is reasonable, especially for Brea. The staff is young and friendly. And good looking.
This is a wonderful place.

I had the opportunity to eat at Mother's restaurant in the Downtown Brea area. It's a fairly new restaurant, in a location that has seen the demise of many restaurants.
The menu was just plain boring. It looked like an attempt at "comfort food" but without any specialness to it. The staff was friendly enough, but I must have been there during their busy time. I waited an extraordinarily long time for my entrรฉe.
Once I did get my entrรฉe, I would compare it to cheap diner food. Nothing special, but that makes it just more painful for the price that we paid.
I hope it's just the newnest of the restaurant and not the norm.

The food is great. The menu has everything from spicy to even vegetarian. They have a fresh salsa bar, and great chips. They are famous for their monstrous wet burritos. Make sure to have a lot of napkins handy.
Take advantage of the patio seating and do some people watching.

Like most thai restaurants, the food is spicy. The kitchen staff lets you decide how spicy to make your meal, and they do their best not to make you suffer. But, there are plenty of dishes that are not spicy and child friendly.

Inside, the emphasis is on family fun. The prices are inexpensive, so you will not break the bank on a family outing.
It's noisy, and casual.

This flower shop easy to find. It shares a parking lot with Big Lots, so there are never any parking issues. The staff is creative and friendly. I have never felt rushed to make a decision, and have even enjoyed some of the recommendations that I received. The flowers are inexpensive, and in great health. They seem to last a bit longer than flowers from other florist. Each bouquet comes with instructions and plant food.

Talk about convenience!
This is definitely a trip back in time. A good old fashion dairy. Best of all, it's a drive in dairy. Located smack dab in the middle of Brea, this small dairy can be a lifesaver. With it's extended hours, it's the recipe for convience.
No more having to wait until your husband gets home, before you can run out to the market. No more buckling and unbuckling the kids in their car seats in order to make a quick run to the market. This dairy carries a variety of staple items, so it is likely that you will find what you need. Though, not a bargain hunters normal store, the convience is what you are paying for.
