Over the past three years, we have purchased all new kitchen appliances, a new washing machine, and an extra fridge from Yale and we have always been pleased with the customer service and level of professionalism. You check in at the door and when a sales person is available, they stick with you from start to finish. Delivery was free and even those guys were pleasant. We even got a phone call a week later to check on the "experience" and make sure we were happy with everything.

When we needed repairs done to our roof, we asked around the neighborhood and 9 out of 10 neighbors said, "call Duffy" so we did. Turns out, they have been around so long, they had actually installed our original roof. Kind of pricey, but worth the money. The neighbor who didn't call them (and went with the lowest bid) had to have his roof redone within a year and is currently trying to take some legal action against the company. No problems at all with Duffy. Everyone involved, from the estimates to the actual repairs was professional and pleasant.

We have been using Arco security for about three years and are very pleased with the service. The rates are competitive and being local, the customer service is outstanding. They are quick to respond and installation was scheduled within a day of us calling them. We needed to update our system after some home renovations and again they were fast and professional.

They carry buttons (obviously) yarn, sewing supplies, ribbon, kids craft items, and more. The staff is both friendly and knowledgeable. For those interested, it also offers different crafting workshops on site.

They have a great selection of gift items, everything from baby stuff to housewares, and a huge selection of nice cards and handmade papers. At Christmas time, they have wonderful decorations and textiles available as well. The items are unique and high quality.

Before we went digital, we took all our film here for developing. Now, we use their services when we need to make reprints or enlargements and more recently, for a photo restoration project. They did a great job on some antique family photos that were very damaged. Some had holes burned in them, some had writing on them, and we got back prints that could be framed and displayed. I was impressed with the speed of their service as well.

My boys have been swimming there since they were six months old and we have always been impressed with the service. This is a great resource for Boston families.
