Next time you are shopping in Stuyvesnt Plaza stop by the Book House. This locally owned, independent bookstore is a great place to browse and buy books. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a lots of events and help to promote interesting events going on in the area. They have a frequent shopper program that rewards you for shopping there.

The office is clean and bright and the staff is wonderful at Latham Pediatrics. It is a group of five pediatricians so you know in an emergency someone will be there to help you. We never had a very long wait either in the office for our appointment or in getting an appointment.. The location is wonderful, right off Rt.7 and in a huge new medical building. Urgent care is right across the hall for off hour emergencies.

The staff is so friendly and helpful at Bergen County Camera it makes it okay that their prices are a bit higher. Sure you can probably get a better deal ordering off the internet, but who is going to help you figure how to turn the camera on? They have a lot of different products and accessories, plus a photo lab. The location is great too, they are right on the main street in Westwood.

We are big fans of mexican food and are disappointed that Fresh Cactus is our only option in Ridgewood. The food is good and the fact that it is made with no lard or msg makes it more appealing. We just don't love it/ crave it. They offer a huge selection and allow subsitioins which is nice. Delivery took forever (over an hour), but the time we ate at the restaurant, it was quick. It is a BYOB place so if you want alcohol pick something up on the way. They have a few table outside so you can dine outside in the nice weather.

We have gone to Wasabi a few times for sushi and at first I thought it was okay, but after this last time ...never again. The service is awful. Not once did we get any water refill or even the waiter asking if we wanted another soda. Each of the three times they were "out" of cream cheese so I was not able to order my favorite Philadelphia roll. Wait for a table, wait to order, wait for food, wait for check, wait for credit card receipt, get the pictures. They are alway busy so they must be doing something right. I just think there are so many better sushi places in Ridgewood.

We love, love, love Asian Grill. we order from them (always delivery) it is great food and quick, friendly service. Try the cream cheese wontons for an appetizer-yummy! The food is packed in microwave safe containers (even the rice) so I always get an extra dish for lunch the next day.
