My husband works on the canal and for the 4th of July they have a canal fest and we loved getting taking our girls for a paddle boat ride.... it's a great way to see a beautiful area of downtown...

we love taking our girls to the build a bear workshop, we have a tradition that we started 2 years ago at christmas time, we take our kids to see santa at the mall and after we go to the build a bear workshop and they get to pick a special stuffed animal to create and dress. it's a wonderful memory maker for our girls.
