one of our favorite parks - in the summer time Fishers has the Freedom Festival around this park area, so beware that the play area is PACKED during this time, not a good idea for the smaller kids, but during other times it's a great park with lots of swings on two different sets of swing sets, swinging is one of our favorite things to do.

our neighbors have a playset from recreation unlimited, they have smaller kids and one on the way so it's a great investment for years or play to come. i looked into having a b-day party for our older child but it's a little on the pricey side for the smaller number of kids that we are having attend. it might be a better value for a bigger party in the future

we have a family yearly membership and it's worth every single penny, not only do you get to ride the carousel for free (which is you don't have a memebership it's a 1.00 a ride) this can add up...
we have a family yearly membership and it's worth every single penny, not only do you get to ride the carousel for free (which is you don't have a memebership it's a 1.00 a ride) this can add up when you ride it 4 times in an outing times 4 people, they have great programs and classes. we have signed our older child up for some classes this fall and she is very excited.
another GREAT value of being a memeber is the first saturday of the month they open at 9:00 (instead of 10:00) for members only - so it's not that crowded and we get an extra hour.

We usually have a snack and play in the playground area, beware that it does get really really busy in this area on the weekends, better to go during the week in the am to meet other moms with smaller kids

we take our girls to the Picture People closer to christmas = usually after seeing santa for a casual picture - they do an excellent job and very good with our girls, even our younger child who isn't too crazy about getting her picture taken, they have some tricks to getting kids to smile and laugh - we have some excellent pictures from the Picture People and wonderful memories saved in those photos

when we go to the mall this is an excellent treat/snack for our kids, they can easily split a pretzel since they are nice and big but we always need to get an extra cream cheese. very reasonable...
