The Wild Animal Park is a must see for first timers to San Diego. I will say it's not really appropriate for toddlers, you'd be better off at the zoo. The reason I say that is due to the tramway at the park. It takes you around the entire park where you can view the animals living together, almost like you're on an African safari! It's quite the photo op! It's really quite amazing to see the animals co-existing as they do here. A must see.

This is by far the best zoo I've ever been to. The pathways are lush with greenery, the animals have wonderful enclosures, and are obviously well taken care of. There are some areas where many animals co-exist (the otters, monkeys, and fish for example). The zoo keepers are very friendly and will help you find out where you need to go. This zoo is HUGE and there are quite a few hills, so bring your walking shoes! The nighttime zoo during the summer is definetly something to not miss!

This restaurant is a great place to get food from! They have GIANT pizzas (enough to feed 10 people!) and the best calzones! We also really enjoy their antipasto salad. They use a brick fired oven to cook everything, and it definely makes the taste that much better. Their crust is tasty, and all the toppings are fresh tasting. And, the guys who work there are extremely friendly!

This flower shop delivered my anniversary flowers to my house. However, I wasn't home when they arrived, so they left the vase with my next door neighbors. Then, they left a voicemail on my phone asking me to please let them know I received the flowers from my neighbors. Very good follow up! And very pretty flowers! They did start to wilt quite a bit on the second day, but they were pretty when they arrived. Not a very long shelf life, which I suppose is true for any flower.

This museum has the history of the Bible vs. the history of science. Basically, how the two differ, and the explanations behind both. It's a nice place to walk through, but be sure you have some time for it, because there is a TON of information to read through. The displays are pretty cool and quite informative. They have a scale model of Noah's Ark. And, the best part is they do not try to push religion on you while you're there. And, it's free to visit.

If you like movies than you'll love the drive-in! There are two feature films for the price of one! They have two screens to watch on, one on the north side, and one on the south side. You can listen to the words through your radio in your car. There is a little snack hut in the middle of the parking lot. It's a great experience going to the drive-in! The only problem is waiting in the line to get into the parking lot.

This little family owned chinese food restaurant is a great place! They only have a few little booths inside, but they do have a pick-up counter. Everything we've tried from here has been very tasty and cooked just right. The only drawback to this restaurant is they only accept cash, so be sure to stop at the ATM first. They are very quick with completing orders.

There is just something extremely exciting about riding a roller coaster right on the beach overlooking the Pacific Ocean. And, Belmont Park is a great place to do that! It doesn't cost you much to ride. There is a huge parking lot right next door, so as long as you visit on a day that is not a weekend during the summer, than you'll be fine. Lot's of fun!

The ob's here are wonderful! They make sure to explain all that is going on, and make you feel very comfortable. The ob I usually see makes jokes to lighten the mood, and he's very personable. He doesn't just treat people as a "medical issue" he treats people like people! What a concept! Very good practice here.
