Samurai Sushi

Monday, August 01, 2005
Samurai is a great place for the budget-minded who want something different than what is offered from the multitude of sandwich shops in Downtown Crossing. The offerings are what you would expect from any sushi restaurant. And unfortunately, the decor is drab. This led me to believe that the food would be the same, but not so. I am glad I tried it. The quality was terrific. I commented on the freshness to the waitress, and she passed my comments on to the owner, who was responsible for buying fish. He came out and chatted with us. Overall, it was a great experience. Also, they have Roll Lunches, which are a GREAT value. You get 2 rolls, plus soup or a salad for $6.25.
