Yes, there still is a drive in theater in Indianapolis.
Not too far from the highway, your kids will **LOVE** to go to the "old school" drive in.
They have an excellent concession area.
You don't have to put a speaker in your car these days, the sound is transmitted through your radio in your car. You don't leave your car running, either.
They have special events from time to time.
