I went to Freemason Abbey on a business lunch and the service was right on. I got the fried shrimp and they were so big, I could have sworn they were prawns. They were delicious. They served us salad (which was so funny how you do this, I won't give it away, but it is a half head of lettuce.)
This is in an old church and it is worth going there just to see the beautiful architecture. It is large enough to accommodate a very big group, and yet you can have a romantic evening too.

In my experience when we were remodeling our daycare, Scott Taylor helped us decide what our best interest was as far as being in code for fires and helped us price it to fit our budget without cutting corners. We were extremely pleased with his work.

You might catch a documentary, a locals film, or a blockbuster at the Naro. They also support the Independent Film Industry by showing their films. You definitely need to catch their schedule on their website and pop in to see a movie. It just brings you back to when theaters had one screen, popcorn and excitement.

It is very comfortable and fun to go to. Their pricing is pretty good with one hour for 7 bucks. But if you buy in blocks it is a better rate. Such as 25 dollars for 5 hours.
They also have pcs for different reasons such as office work, gaming or just surfing. That way, you have the right specs for what you need to do.
It is a really neat internet cafe to visit.

Well, we donated money to the Newport News SPCA because we saw how dedicated they were to the animals they had. We couldn't believe how many animals were there, but they were all well taken care of...
Well, we donated money to the Newport News SPCA because we saw how dedicated they were to the animals they had. We couldn't believe how many animals were there, but they were all well taken care of and in good sized cages. They had a big dog room, a small dog room, a cat room and then an actual petting zoo. At our visit we petted deer, goats, a llama, geese and so much more! Then they even had a few big cats, such as a cougar and a leopard.
We were amazed and gave them a charitable contribution and if you haven't been there, out must go. It is right across from the Va Living Museum.

I tanned at Endless Summer for over 3 years before getting pregnant and I have to say that I drove our of my way to go there because of their service, hours and employees. They always figured out the best prices on packages for me and always let me try out products before I bought them. They helped me achieve the perfect color tan that I wanted without over tanning. They had 8 regular beds and 2 superbeds when I last went to them. I often went to tan, because it was so relaxing and calming. They always kept the place cool and clean.
I truly miss tanning there and would recommend it to anyone.

They have great hours and a great service at Hollywood nails. I went to get a pedicure one evening and while other places were full or couldn't take me, Hollywood nails fit me in. I was in a nice massaging chair while my feet soaked in a wonderful bath. Then I was massaged, lotioned, pampered and my m=nails ended up looking awesome. They had a wide assortment of colors and things they could do to my nails, but I opted only for color and not airbrushing or fingernails or anything else.
I thought they were very good at what they do and I would recommend them to anyone

The Jewish Mother has so many different foods it is hard to tell you what it is. Of course, being true to it's name, it has a full line of Kosher foods. They serve quiches daily and they have some of the best sandwiches you will get anywhere.
There is a full bar and plenty of varieties of beer. That is another of their signature as they have beers there that you can't get just anywhere.
Plus, their bakery is to die for. This is one place you have to save room for desert. When you first walk in, you will see a case of fresh baked desserts on your left. And honestly, it is a large assortment.
They have a night atmosphere too with bands and poetry on particular nights. This is a fun place to be.

I have eaten everything from calamari to Hawaiian chicken grilled on cedar. They also have some of the best mixed drinks in the area and if you like Margarita's, you will need to try one here.
If you like live music, then this place will usually get some type of alternative/pop band in for the weekend. Their bar is well stocked and have numerous beers on tap. At one time they even had Woodchuck on tap. Now I haven't been there in a while for beer, since I have 2 babies, so can't confirm that is still there. LOL
They are fairly expensive, but the atmosphere, the decorum, the food, and the whole experience is worth it at Hot Tuna. Heck, I went there at least one time a week for a long time!

Worrell Brothers is one of those places that definitely is more of a bar than of a restaurant. But their food is pretty good too. I would say that their place is great though, because they attract so many different people for their night life. They get bands on certain nights or they have a DJ playing great tunes to dance too. They also have an upstairs area where you can play pool or hang out to different music. They have specials on certain nights, so be sure to call and ask what they are. I have always had a good time going there for an after work drink and some shrimp and I am always satisfied.
