I've heard wonderful things about the Magnolia Grill. It was good. Not Great or fabulous.
The food was competently presented, but nothing spectacular.
I was particularly disappointed at the lack of chocolate on the dessert menu.
The restaurant is located in what used to be a health food store, so the atmosphere is casual, with pine floors, white tablecloths, and funky paintings on the walls. It is loud, and a meeting place for Duke students and faculty, as well as those who venture over from RTP.
