I like this store. It is clean, well kept and well stocked. The staff is very nice and helpful, too, always asking if we are finding what we need. The prices are right, also. I wish they did...
I like this store. It is clean, well kept and well stocked. The staff is very nice and helpful, too, always asking if we are finding what we need. The prices are right, also. I wish they did layaway, though. Sometimes, with 3 kids, that would be quite helpful, especially over the summer for the next school year. Parking is adequate, located to the side of the building. This business is right on Harper, just past 9 Mile Road, right after Kmart, and on the same side. My 12yo likes the selection of purses and trinkets for shoes, too.

This store is small, and can almost be missed if you aren't familiar with it, or the area. Located on Mack Avenue, just before St. Joan of Arc Church. There is lots of parking behind this store, as well as on the side street, although you will be on the local residential street if you park on the side. Staff consists of father and daughter, who are both very helpful. You can do layaway, as well as have watches repaired and also turn in any unwanted jewelry for cash. They also offer up items that have been sold to them to be purchased, as well as brand new items. They repair clocks too, as you will see when you enter the store. They are on quite a bit of the walls! You can purchase unique items, as well as come in and have an item created via your own idea!

If you can't find a part, call and talk to John or Sam and I bet they can locate it, or have information on the item. There is limited parking on the side of the building. The store is clean and well kept, and the owner and his son are very helpful. Cash, checks or credit accepted. Please note that this store is in the process of closing. You may be able to find some clearance deals due to this. Give them a call!

I really like this Hallmark store. It is located in a strip mall at the corner of 13 Mile and Harper. There is plenty of parking since this is a HUGE strip mall. Little Green Apple sells many things, as all Hallmarks do. They have trinkets and beanie babies. They sell items for communitions and baptisms, births and birthdays, items for major holidays like Mothers Day and Fathers Day. Plenty of cards (of course) as well as wrapping paper. The selection of Hallmark ornaments at Christmas time is a huge plus for me. LOVE them! I also like their after holiday sales. Can get some great bargains!! If you have a Hallmark card, too, you can get % off items as well as earn points to help save $. They have plenty of calendars and even sell throws and jewelry. Staff is very pleasant and helfpul, too.

This Kmart is located on the corner of 9 Mile and Harper. Parking is HUGE and very accomodating. I think the store has been cleaned up since Sears and Kmart merged. I like the fact that you can use your Sears card at Kmarts now, too. There is always something on clearance, especially now. Racks and racks of clothing on sale for next to nothing. Still love the layaway plan, too! 8 weeks and only $10 down holds your items with 25% of balance paid every 2 weeks. Staff has been cut and I'm disappointed by that. Many times, especially on holidays, there are lines and lines of people due to this.

This shop is located on Mack Avenue, between 8 and 9 Mile Roads (closer to 9 Mile Road, though). Parking is located behind the establishment and in front of it. It is shared with other businesses in the strip, though, so can become congested. This sporting goods store offers many things. You can get ice skates, roller skates, roller blades, jerseys, coats, sporting attire, order uniforms, order trophies, letters for school jackets. You can pick up small trinkets and pins for jackets, too. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. This business used to be located on Cadieux in Detroit but moved a few years ago to this location. Prices are in line with other sporting goods but I like the family feel of this establishment.

Just so you know. You don't purchase Gymboree clothing there. It is their play center where they offer classes for kids and their parents. They have a paint class, a tumbling class, and music classes. I have done one of the classes, for free. You can go in an do a trial. Just call first and schedule it. It was cute but, in my opinion, expensive. They do what they do here in preschool and I feel preschool would be more of a benefit to your child. Parking is available on the side and can get congested.

This business is located between 9 and 10 Mile Road on Harper, in a strip mall with CVS. Parking is adquate and is shared by all in the strip mall. I have been very happy with the service I receive at this Blockbuster. Staff if helpful and nice. Always a great selection of videos as well as video games. I like the new policy of being able to turn in used items for credit and that you can buy used items. I also utilize coupons when I go in there. I receive them in the mail. I am not happy about the candy and treats available at the checkout, though. My kids are ALWAYS asking for something there and I find this annoying. They are WAY TOO EXPENSIVE too! I usually go alone, after asking my kids what they would like to see or call them from the store to ask to avoid this "battle".

You can go in, see a bunch of hardware stuff, and then walk over a few aisles and see toilet paper and food and then walk over and see wind chimes and wall hangings. It has VARIETY!! Can stay in there for a few hours looking at every aisle!! The prices are great, too, as well as their coupons in their ads!! You can get socks, and puzzles and coloring books and rock salt all in one stop! LOL Nice place to get sand for sandboxes, too. Very smooth and not rough. Plenty of parking located at the back of the store. Staff is nice, too.

This business is excellent at what it does. I have used it a few times in the past. They have a guarantee that if you see bugs 60 days later, you can call them and they will come back and re-spray. They are quick and efficient, with appointments readily available. There isn't an address listed in the yellow pages for them, but they are located on page 887, upper right corner. They have a website, as well as 4 locations. Staff seems knowledgeable on the phone, and they person who sprays is quick to offer tips to help keep the bugs away. There is no parking to be had, since you call them and they come to you. Prices are fair also.
