I've actually only had the Dim Sum. It's not bad, actually. Some are delicious. Like the shrimp wrapped in transparent rice noodles in soysauce (I wish I knew what to call it in English). But some are just mediocre and I've had better, like the desserts. It's a hit and miss.
Overall, I'd go again. It's not ridiculously expensive or anything.

They have everything stocked up in the back. So I would only come here if I knew exactly what I'm looking for.
They sell intruments and misc. stuff like reeds, cork crease, etc. And instrument rentals. Not sure about sheet music becasue I don't see any. But they do have a music studio in the back although I don't know what they do there.

I know most people probably hate their dentist but mine ain't all that bad. He doesn't constantly try to chatter with you when you have a mouthfull of, stuff. But he doesn't ignore you to the point that you're just nervous as heck. Always friendly.
After every checkup he sends me off with a bag of floss, toothbrush, and whatnot. My old dentist didn't.
As per his work, my fillings and bi-annual cleaning/checkup. Can't really complain much. It's just how it is.

Owner greets you at the door, service good, price a little steep, but not outrageous, portions are good, not huge like at family restaurants.
Ambience is pretty romantic, gorgeous 2 story with chandeliers and mahogany furnishing.
Food is just very good N Italian and French cuisine, ranging from pasta to fois gras and truffles. All presented beautifully. Desserts are excellent.
Cute touch: Each female diner is sent off with a long-stem rose at the end of the meal.

I'm usually not a big fan of buffets since it's all you can eat so they usually skimp out in quantity over quality. But Palace BBQ Buffet is great.
At one area there are heaps of raw meat, another, rice and soups, the third, a huge variety of kimchi and condiments, and another for misc. desserts, fruits, and other edibles.
You get the raw meat from the buffet grill it yourself on the hot metal surface at each table, suction domes on top of each surface suck up the greasy smoke.
It's pretty fun to cook your own food if you get to do it on a big metal surface...

World of music sells everything a musician needs. Sheet music, music books/collections, instruments (guitars, pianos, band instruments), instrument rentals, lessons, repairs, misc. parts.
All for standard retail prices. So they don't try to jip you or anything. Even better that they always have coupons in those Valpak envelopes of local business coupons that come in your mail.
Usually $5.00 off of $25 or $10 off of $50. I always save these coupons for when I was playing the clarinet and needed to buy reeds periodically.

If you have to get your headshots for an agency or photos for a passport renewel or even just some fun pictures with friends, go to Image Shots at Vallco Mall.
It's in a mall so you can browse other stores and shop while you wait for your pictures, which takes about half an hour.
The studio is small and clean. They have classic one color backgrounds, or fun pattern ones. Lumi-lights are used to give the shots a smooth look.
Owner is my friend's dad and he's a real nice guy, my friend usually work there afterschool hours. Sweet gal.

I have been to many of the asian grocery stores around here. being that I am Chinese myself, and this Korean grocery store is by far my favorite.
Unlike the Chinese supermarkets around here, which are usually not that clean and smells like fish, Hankook is VERY clean, like your good ol' American Safeway, and has an amazing selection of food that you can't easily find elsewhere, especially important Asian/Korean goods, including produce, pre-marinaded meats, freshly prepared korean condiments, noodles, canned food, asian drinks, and fresh sashimi fish. The produces/meats are a lot cheaper than American grocery stores, and just as fresh.
They even sell (imported from Korea) clothes, shoes, stationaries, CDs, cosmetics (Shiseido/Lanaige), and gifts in small boutiques scattered around the store.

I think I've only been to Great America like 4 or 5 times and I'm already tired of it. Unless they get some new rides in, I'm not taking the effort of dagging myself over there.
But to be fair, the first time I've ever visited GPA I was estatic. The roller coasters were great, except for Stealth, which broke when I was the next in line. I got to ride it another time and came to the conclusion that it was the best roller coaster in the park.
...
And then they tore it down for some stupid little kid water tower thing.
But I guess they had their reasons. That ride often malfunctioned.
This theme park is great for families because there are good roller coasters and whatnot for teenagers and adults, but also kiddie rides.
but for $45 a pop, I'd rather go to Disneyland.

Yeah Andronico's sell a lot of organic, gourmet, specialt, and foreign foodstuff. Like the other reviewer said, it really is a fun place to wander around. When I'm bored and feel like I want to treat myself a little I'll go there and buy some weird food I've never tried before. And maybe one of those bottles of water from Italy and those milk in oldschool glass bottles. Trying new stuff is sort of a hit and miss, but isn't everything? The process sure is fun though.
PS. Whenever a recipe calls for some weird stuff that you can't find in your neighborhood Safeway, I can almost guarantee you that you will find it at Andronico's.
