I've only been here a few times. It has everything a typical Asian/Filipino grocery store would have, including the fresh fish. The selection of products is good, but it's the cleanliness I don't like. The store usually reaks of fish, which isn't a very inviting smell. But it's the choice store of the large Filipino community in Carson because of their products & because of the Filipino restaurants & barong shop surrounding it.

This place has everything--vases, kitchen supplies, snacks, home decor, office/school supplies, & more! And almost everything is 98 cents! It's a change from the usual corner 98 cent store & the popular 99 cent store.. but a GOOD change. I often go there just to browse & look at all the little trinkets, like decor & designed chopsticks.

This place is a great place to go grocery shopping for common Japanese (& other Asian) foods/products, like rice cookers & (my favorite) mochi ice cream. On top of having a grocery store, this marketplace also has a small food court w/ a variety of restaurants, a Japanese bookstore, a Japanese video store, & several shops that sell stationary, car accessories, & other little trinkets.

This Tapioca Express (Carson) is one of the most popular hang-out spots in the city. They have a huge variety of flavored snowbubbles & coffees, ranging from strawberry-banana to white chocolate mocha. They also have delicious, snack-size crispy squid & crispy chicken. The restaurant itself is nice & very clean. If you're thirsting for something more than the usual soda or frappuccino, this is the place for you!

The Thank You Mart, located in Westwood Village (down the street from UCLA), is one of the best thrift shops I've been to. They have a good variety of women's & men's clothing, and many interesting accessories, like funky hats & sunglasses. And hey, everything in the store is $3.99!! Even if you don't buy anything, you can always try on weird outfits & take pictures w/ your friends!
