When you first arrive at the Oyster House, you think you made a mistake. It looks just like a college bar hangout. The whole first floor is a bar. The second floor is a fine dining establishment. The restaurant is in an old restored house supposedly haunted. The food was just ok. I had the signature strawberry salad and it was very bland. My husband had some type of fish that was so overcooked he couldn't even eat it. My recommendation would be to try a different restaurant. The service was friendly though.
