There isn't really a lot wrong with the Jon English salon. if you are willing to pay a few extra dollars for a sensational cut, I'd try here!

The Walker Art Center did an awesome job with its renovations! It is truely a world class museum now. The landscaping and artitecture is seriously amazing. The muesum shop is fun and has a big variety. The artwork is impressive. I think they have free days 1-2 times a month. Great stuff. The Sculpture Garden is right next door.

I started to go to PIP after many recommendations. And I can see why they get rave reviews! I never have a problem getting an appointment in a short amount of time. They have a 24 hour nurse line....
I started to go to PIP after many recommendations. And I can see why they get rave reviews! I never have a problem getting an appointment in a short amount of time. They have a 24 hour nurse line. If I ever call with a question, a doctor calls me back within an hour, tops. Very nice nurses, doctors, and staff. The rooms are a litte small, but that's OK.

I love going to BookSmart because they have a TON of books, are open late, and of course, CHEAP! Borders is right down the street and I think they don't have as many books. I like how BookSmart employees are friendly and helpful. I can find almost any type of book I am lookign for. The bookstore is organized and kept clean.

When we needed the hydrolics on our shifter tightened, we called around a ton of places. Autopia in Uptown was very reasonably priced and could get the job done fast. They were very nice and helped us with our requests. I also see coupons for them sometimes in the mail. They even parked our car outside for us so we could pick it up after hours. Really great to work with.

I've gone to Patina several times to look for gifts, and I've never been disappointed. They have unique, fun things that you won't find at a Target or anywhere else. They have everything from jewlery, to cards, to vases, furniture, purses, and more. Fun books and baby things, too. It's a store with a little bit of everything, but it is for sure urban hip. There are 4 locations within the city.

The theatre itself is kind of old, but it's in a good location. They play movies like "Supersize Me", "Risk" and more. THey also have midnight showings for night owls.

I love the Baker's Wife. It is a fun bakery with a ton of great pastries, breads, and other goods. We've tried all the bakeries in town that have good reviews, and this was the best. They have awesome plain and cinnamon sugar donuts that almost taste like mini donuts. they are better, though, because they aren't as greasy. Love the bread and cinnamon rolls, too.

Edinborough Park in Edina (I had to put Minneapolis in the address field) is a fun place to bring kids! They have all types of things - a play area for big kids and little kids, a gym, a air filled bouncy house, basketball hoop, swimming pool, and more. And it's only $5/kid, parents free. My 1 year old son loved it, and the play area was big enough for me to play, too.
