I was really hesitant about going to this restaurant because it is in the older part of Castle Rock but what a pleasant surprise! It had the best family style served fried chicken that I've had in a long time. The servings are good sized and the atmosphere is like an old country restaurant. The service is friendly you almost feel like you're family!

If you make it past The Factory Outlets and wander through historic downtown Castle Rock, make sure you stop in at the Castle Cafe. Famous for their pan fried chicken dinner served family style, the Castle Cafe's menu is as true to the West as their decor. Fresh, homemade rolls with real butter and your choice of soup or salad come with every dinner. Serving Colorado's infamous Rocky Mountain Oysters it's hard not to fill up on the starters! Colorado fare, buffalo, trout, pork chops, decadent salads of gigantic proportion and fresh, homemade deserts await you. With entrées ranging from 9 to 19 dollars, the Castle Cafe is the perfect spot for good home cookin', family dining and out of town guests.
