Shore acres is one of the most beautiful floral gardens I have ever seen. They have a wonderful Chineese pond and and garden toward the back, and then a wonderful rose garden with what seems to be every rose imaginable. It is so pretty in full bloom and makes a wonderful backdrop to any wedding. There is a place to over look the ocean from the top of the cliff and it is just a breath taking view. Don;t forget your camera. Every year they do christmas lights thru the gardens and it makes for a great family trip out to see all the christmas displays. They even have the main house decorated to tour thru and have cookies and hot cider.

Hornings Hideout has become a big hit with our family. Every year my family comes up for a family type reunion and we all go camping. At least one day we head out to Hornings to go fishing. It is a great deal because since my family is all out of state they would each have to pay $35 for a one day fishing license ( local residents only have to pay $20 a year) so thats pretty high. Hornings you do not need a license. You fish and pay by the pound what you catch. It is lots of fun. They have playgrounds for the kids and there are beautiful tame peacockd that wonder around and are so pretty.

This is more than just a lumbar yard. They have all sorts of home improvement stuff. The staff is so knowledgeable. i have gone in many times with a problem and they troubleshoot it for you and tell you how to go about fixing the problem. They always give expert advise about the products they carry. They even have clearance and marked down items that they have discontinued at fabulous prices that just can't be beat.

When we had a leak in the septic holding tank on the spout that connected to the hose on our RV and just couldn't seem to get it fixed. These guys are plumbing masters and were able to come up with the idea to fix it. We were able to use various PVC plumbing parts and glue it all together and it worked. They were so friendly and helpful.

They are some of the most incompitent people in the automotive industry I have ever met. Maybe i am just bitter but 12 years ago I got an oil change from them and the technitian failed to put the oil pun bolt correctly and snug. Anyway it came out without my knowledge and all the oil drained out and my engiene blew up costing me over two thousand dollars to get fixed. I do understand that accident happen, but I still would never reccomend this company to anyone. Not even my worst enemy.

Kids love the balloons and it isn't "stuffy" like flowers are, and they last longer too. They staff is fun and creative and are very accommodating to special requests.

They stock all sorts of fancy coffe makers, and food proccessors and whatnot. They have really large selection of stuff. Much bigger than that of some major upsale department stores I have been in. The staff can be a bit pushy when you shop, but I can only guess that they are likely paid on commission and it is all about their own personal bottom line. The store is well laid out and spacious. They even have a little caffe in the back to get gourmet coffee from. Their prices are great, and their sales are just wonderful.

All I can say about this place is WOW. It may look small and run down on the outside, but these guys mean buissiness and they know how to fix german imports and fix them right. They never seem to have a problem finding classic Volkswagen parts for those old beetles and vans. My uncle even drove 3 hours to have his Volkswagen Pickup truck fixed there, because he knew it would be done right the 1st time. Their prices are at the industry standard for fixing an import, which is fair, but they do have great prices on routine maintainance like tune-ups and oil changes.

This is a great florist. They come up with the most wonderful and creative floral arangements. Their arrangements are so personalized and every litle detail is pefect, right down to the cute little ladybug pin they attach to one of the flowers on every floral arrangement they do. Their flowers always are super fresh. The staff is very friendly. Inside their store they have al sorts of stuffed animals and specialty gift items to go with the flowers. They have a huge selection of really cute stuf to send to a new mother.

This is a cute little gift shop that has a little bit of everything. They have lots of funny and whimsical items that always seem to be perfect for that person who is hard to shop for. They have lots of light house and marine type stuff that I have never seen anywere else. A lot of their stuff always seems so unique. I have always been able to find just the right thing and left feeling thik the gift I chose was a one of a kind that was just waiting for me to come along and buy it. The staff is so helpfull and friendly.
