This park is named in honor of Diane Sawyer's father, Ebron Powers Sawyer. It has a wide variety of facilities for the whole family. There is a large playground, tennis courts, picnic facilities, hiking trails, a large swimming pool, BMX bike trails, soccer and softball fields, a model airplane field and even a dog park. There is also an indoor activity center which has basketball, volleyball,weightroom, badminton, and shower facilities. There are daily exercise classes and programs for children. Often times, this park hosts special events for the holidays, including fireworks.
