La Patisserie is a nice little hole in the wall to purchase pastries as you stroll down Washington Ave. Special order cakes are available, somewhat pricy however, just about everything at the Jersey shore is. However, if you do need to buy a birthday cake, it is much better then Shop Rite's. Different sorts of breads are also available, but be there early. Parking can sometimes be a problem.
