When you are window shopping in the Highlands, or taking that weekend stroll out for coffee, stop into Carmichael's bookstore. Its not a mega store, and that's a good thing. The staff is knowledgeable, and the store is a book lovers oasis. Bardstown Road is called restaurant row, but while you are out feeding your body,don't forget to feed your mind--stop in and sample the fare at Carmichael's.
