For a great walk in the park visit Cherokee Park's scenic loop. At the end of Eastern Parkway, the loop is one way traffic to the right with a lane dedicated to walkers, runners, bikers, etc.. The park system in Louisville was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, who is most famous for designing Central Park in New York City. Cherokee is a combination of meadows and forest area. Its a beautiful place to exercise, walk the dog, or take a leisurely stroll.
