There’s a basil and ground beef one that’s fantastic, or you should try the 4 cheese, which is also very good and filling.

Yeah this place definitely falls under “other”. If you’re searching for the perfect mouse skull or human femur for under $60, then you’ve come to the right place. The window display alone is enough to make you stop and stare for ten minutes. They specialize in selling crazy, creepy stuff, but a lot of it is really cool. Definitely worth walking in and checking out.

Ok, this place can either be really cool (with the back patio area that has private little bungalows and candles, etc) or it can be kinda not so cool (if they’re having a UCLA-student private party, which is almost every weekend night). Either way, the bartenders are too hot for their own good and the hefeweizen is really good. Enjoy.

Nobody knows about this place, and I previously intended to keep it that way. But I can’t. From the outside it looks like just a regular gelateria, but once inside you see the tiny restaurant in the back. The food is AMAZING. The raviolis only come in family-sized portions, and they are unbelievable.

Here’s the deal: it’s really cool in LA to stand in line for something, even if it stinks. Like a sloppy hot dog with little flavor. But if you want to wait three hours (I am not exaggerating at all) for a dirty hot dog, have fun. Not as good as Carnie’s

Ok, I’m going to say it now, so you know. This place has a full menu, but make sure you ONLY get the hot wings. They have a special on Tuesdays, also, I think. I tried to get a sandwich one time, one where a “skyscraper-high pile” of pastrami was promised, and I got a soggy, wet sandwich. Stick to the hot wings, it’s what they do best. Oh and you can drink in there, which is cool.

I love this place. They have the nicest wait staff working there, and the guys who own it always come by to see how your food is. If you like Indian food, you have to try their Lamb Tikka, it’s absolutely amazing, and so is the naan. Also, they give you some pre-meal munchies that have these amazing dipping sauces. I have no idea what’s in them, but they’re so good!
