This non-profit organization is an arts education center that offers fantastic classes in industrial arts, gallery shows and cool special events. While I haven't yet taken any classes here, I can definitely recommend attending their annual Fire Arts Festival every July. Two day pass is $40 and well worth it for the one-of-a-kind experience. The festival consists of three nights of spectacular aerial and fire performances, live bronze, aluminum and iron pours and many fire and light installations. If you're interested in classes, check out these options: Blacksmithing, Foundry & Moldmaking, Welding, Glass, Jewelry, Neon & Light, Kinetics, Machine Shop, Stone, Woodworking, Paper Works, and Fire Performance. The two best class titles are "Fearless Fire Eating" and "Dragon Breath." more
