good food, strange location

Tuesday, August 16, 2005
So far, I have only tried the Vietnamese dishes here, and they are quite delicious. Pho comes with fresh basil and is satisfying. Summer rolls are springy and come packed with fresh ingredients. The main problem I have with Viet Thai is that the menu is limited, so it is difficult to satisfy the tastes of multiple diners. If you want to eat here with even a small party, it is best if everyone is really into it and not just going along. Also, the restaurant is small and located oddly near the Greyhound bus terminal. The building doesn't look like a restaurant, but an old church.
