I needed a steering cable. The salesman talked me into ordering whole kit. I told him I wanted a tilt helm, and that's the only reason id replace my entire steering.
He said he had a complete kit and that id have it before a big trip next weekend.
I got the kit today, and its a standard helm. I called them to correct the issue, but they don't even have the correct parts in stock. Even better is that they want me to buy the parts at there listed price which is more then if they would have come in the kit. Not to mention I could just buy it from somewhere else cheaper. The only offer they made was to expediate the shipping, but it still would take 5 buisness days... what a waste of time!
I would miss my trip if I waited on the correct parts. I will also miss my trip if I don't use the parts I have. So I will install the kit for my trip knowing they wont take it back... $230 dollars when all I needed was a stupid cable. Thanks CP Performance
