incompetent 7/19/2012

Flown from Mariners because of an MI. Dr. Gomez could not insert the catheter or the stent that I was flown to Baptist for. That piece of the heart muscle died. Left Obtuse medial #2. I was told, don't worry you are still healthy enough to run a marathon. I was put on one 81mg asa/day and held for observation. Most of my hypertension meds were D/C-ed without comment. I have a very bad back, I had just had an epidural 5 days perviously, Leo Rosales MD, D/C-ed my pain pills as if I didn't really need them, we argued, he reinstated them with strict control. WhenI couldn't sleep at night because of pain the nurse had to call the heart doc, Gomez, at home at 1-am for pain meds, Rosales would not do it. On discharge day they would give me no pain meds I was going home. It was hell. I will not go back. If you get stuck there, you need friends and relatives looking out for you or you could be in big trouble. Avoid this place if possible, the Dr. are incompetent. more
