Echo the sentiments of many other reviewers here - while the training methods presented in class may be effective, she borrows heavily from other more accomplished trainers. She is NOT teaching anything you cannot learn from another qualified trainer in a more positive fashion. She will not hesitate to belittle you as a dog owner in front of the class, is rude, often condescending and downright unprofessional. I have completed 4 weeks of an 8 week beginner obedience class - I will TRY to suffer through the remaining weeks since she already has our money. However, I will not be back. Which reminds me, in the very first class, Barb mentioned that by week 4, people start dropping out because their dogs aren't performing, stating that it was usually the owner's fault for not working hard enough with the dog...really? It's now painfully obvious to me that people drop out because they can't take any more of her discourteous, coarse, abrasive behavior.
