I have dealt with Lynn's Pets for years and find them very knowledgable in the care and suitability of a pet. I have personally had them steer me away from a pet that wasn't the right fit for me. If they don't have what you need, they can get it, and have always gone out of their way to make sure I'm satisfied. I see other reviews posting complaints. My experience has been that anytime I have seen someone bring up a complaint or concern, the staff bends over backwards to resolve the issue and meet or exceed their expectations. The owner may not seem personable at times, but I can tell you he is very knowledgable and experienced in pets of all varieties and what materials and supplies are best suited for their care. You don't keep a small business open for 20+ years by selling crap or treating customers poorly. You can't please everyone, but I think Lynn's staff sure tries. The owner has a passion for animals and serving his customers, and I have always trusted their advise. It's obvious to me he expects the same from his staff. I'm glad we have an established privately owned pet shop on the southside of Lakeland. It's more personable than the chainstores and you know you aren't dealing with someone just there for a paycheck.
