. I am a United States Marine I just got off deployment. I have missed my anniversary due to my deployment. I wanted this Valentine’s Day to be a special one. I ordered flower from Steve’s over the phone. I am in California so I could not place the order in person. I guess that was a mistake. I ask specifically for Orchids to be made and to be delivered from 1 to 4pm. I was told this would be easy and no problem. I paid $110.00 for these flowers. They were not delivered till at least after 5pm and sat outside on a front porch till 8pm. Then they did not have ONE orchid on them and looked to be thrown together at the last minute. I couldn’t believe this when I found out. I was sure from all the good reviews this florist would be good but I was obviously wrong. I would not recommend this florist unless you see the flowers in person before you pay for them. I understand that Valentine’s Day is a busy day for the flower industry but this was unacceptable even to my standards and I am not hard to please in this area. I will never order from them again nor will I recommend them to anyone.
