Had Greg from Duluth Roofing repair some cracks in my roof in 2010. LOVED his work. Promp, professional, & flexible. Called him back out for a checkup this fall. Found out I needed some minor repairs + gutters cleaned. Contracted Duluth Roofing (formerly Summit Spray Foam). Paid before the job was even done because I trusted them. Inquired if the job was done, told it was, found out from tenants it wasn't (with photo proof), Greg sent employees out to clean gutters. They whipped the debris all over the ground, walk, & stairs to the house and left it there. Contacted Greg, he was apologetic, offered my money back (never my objective, just wanted the job done), I said he should give it to my tenants who are now charged with the task of cleaning up after his company. He agreed. Supposedly went to the house (but didn't speak to my tenants nor did they see him there) and then left a crass and insulting voicemail to me despite photo documentation of the garbage left at my property.
I never wanted my money back - I wanted the job done. COMPLETELY. I would have been beyond satified if Greg went out there, cleaned up the debris, and admitted that its not how his company operated, apologized and that was it. Before this last week, I could have sang Duluth Roofing Company's praises from the mountain tops. I was so pleased that I'd found a professional ally in Duluth, someone I could trust and believe that they were of their word. I was about to contract for them to replace my whole roof next spring to the song of 6K or more.... Now, I can't say that I believe them, trust them, or think they're of their word...nor can I ever recommend Duluth Roofing Company to ANYONE! This was the worlds easiest job and they certainly did screw it up! When all they had to do was clean up after themselves!!!!
