Just like most pawn brokers, cash converters wants to buy way below wholesale price and then resell just below retail prices. I was in line and saw a guy (desperate for $$$ for daughters wedding) sell his $2,000 ring (they appraised it) for $200 dollars. A week later I saw it in the case and asked what they wanted for it....$1,600.00! Even if you could talk them down a few hundred, that's a $1,200 profit for cash converters.Expect to get 10% of the value for anything you bring in.
