Crazy Gideon's is an electronics store in Downtown LA, specifically located in the Arts District, which does the store justice because Gideon provides the most creative electronics buying experiences you'll probably ever have. The company is a retailer and wholesaler of new and used electronics. Crazy Gideon's is best known for its commercials that air on tv where the owner, Gideon Kotzer, seems like he's going crazy and just giving away all his merchandise. I recommend Yelping the cafes, restaurants, and bars around the area. Novel Cafe is across the street, Urth Cafe is down the street, and Wurstcuche is very close too (beer/wine). Best part about Crazy Gideon's is that it's not like a Best Buy, insofar as you can negotiate a deal for your electronics. If you like to negotiate, this is the place to be, especially since they also do wholesale. I think their web-site is currently down. I may be biased because I do help rent the space, but I think people don't realize what they're dealing with- thus, my explanatory review :) If you stop by the store, you might meet Gideon or see him screaming on the store intercom, "What do you want from my life?!" lol
