Unless you want to tow your car AWAY from the repair shop, STAY AWAY from Charlie's. I took my car in for an innocuous Check Engine Light check and wound up towing my car away from Charlie's to avoid extortion ($600 to supposedly fix a bearing) and up to $1400 or more for a compressor fix.
Charlie's has RUINED MY LIFE! After Charlie's disabled my drive belt without my authorization, I have had THREE tows in a month, hundreds of dollars in unnecessary repairs and a failed alternator.
Charlie's already charged me $90 for a Check Engine Light diagnostic that another repair place charged me nothing. Charlie's overcharged me about $500 in labor costs for earlier work, according to the proper amount for my zip code on Repair Pal.com. My CAR HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO DRIVE FOR A MONTH SINCE CHARLIES!!!!
Charlie's represents the WORST nature of scuzzy, venal, manipulative auto saboteurs, er "repair shops".
Now, the owner's son ,Niko, is harassing me about complaining openly on these accountability sites. Talk about an audacious consumer scam artist!!!
