Good: I loved everything! I thought I was in great hands until I went into labor.. Bad: I was approved by doctor Blunden to have an elected c-section a week before my due date. I went into labor 10 days before my due date Blueden was on vacation & Knapp was on call. Knapp refused to give me a c-section and wouldnt call Bluden. This was my 1st child & I was terrified. My birth plan was changed at the very last minute. I had not researched anything about having a baby vaginally I did not go to any classes & this is not what I wanted or was expecting.. Improvements: If one doctor in this practice agrees to something then all doctors should respect the patients wishes. After Bluden upset me and my family by not giving me my c-section he just left when the next dr came on. Hamby apologized and said she could see the baby's head so all I had to do was push so I did. Then the worst happened My after birth was not coming so Hamby began to pull (which after researching I found out that this should never be done) and my uterus inverted. Which means went inside out.. Other: I was rushed to emergency surgery & told I had to sign off on paperwork that time was of the essence. Hamby said there were 3 possible out comes 1)they would physically punch my uterus back 2)I could have a hysterectimy or 3)I could die. This was the 1st she had ever seen this happen. Under pressure she did pull it together & obviously I did not die. However it has been 20 months later & for the past 6 months I have been trying to get pregnant with no luck. I just do not want this to happen to anyone else..
