I was diagnoised with Hypothyroidism and I wasn't getting better after being treated by my family doctor. I went to see Dr. Daniels who perscribed a more appropriate drug to treat my condidtion. Then noticed a nodule on my Thyroid and ordered an Ultrasound. The US lead Dr. Daniels to order a biopsy which turned out to be Papillary Thyroid Cancer. The day of the Biopsy Dr. Daniels called me (himself) and said he reviewed the scan and wanted to prepare me to hear the "C" word and then said "we will fix this and you'll be fine--I don't want you to lose sleep over this". He referred me to the best surgeon who specializes in Thyroid surgery. I am not yet cancer free but I'll get there thanks to Dr. Daniels! He has changed the course of my life. Thank you Dr. Daniels for treating me like a person and not like a medical condition.
