what happened to me @ Dancing Brush 12/31/2008

My precious 10 year old IrishWolfhound, "Stretch", passed away & I took a cast of his paw print in to be fired. It took me 8 weeks to have the heart to go pick it up. In the intrim they moved from Bainbridge Island to Poulsbo. After I tracked them down to Poulsbo to pick up Stretch's paw print they told me they called me several times and they insisted I left it there for more than 4 months (the period of time they claim to hold responsibility for your piece). I rec'd one call to which I said it was still too soon emotionally and the girl understood & said it was ok. Anyway, when I went to pick it up after looking for a long time & not finding it the clerk finally called the owner at home and she said it was broken by some little kid. Sorry....... Too bad for you......... This is when she said I was called several times & left it more than 4 months. That was NOT true. I know the exact day Stretch passed away! I think it horrible and terrible that they did not keep a memorial piece away from little kids to drop and break. I think they should have saved me the broken pieces. I think they should have called me & been honest about what happened. I think they should not have lied and said I left it for more than 4 months! It is NO way to run a business and I tell every one I can about my sad unfortunate experience with this place! They broke my heart! Sincerely, Barbra Boiser-Sax Bainbridge Island, Washington more
