About two years ago, the house brand at Lowe's got the best rating from Consumer Reports. It's called American Tradition.
I really like Miller Paint Co in Ballard, they were helpful and non-intimidating when I was a novice DIY painter.
Best Paint has low- and zero-VOC paints if off-gasing is a concern.
Professional painters really like Benjamin Moore paints, which you can get at Seattle Paint Supply.
Lowe's and Miller Paint are open on weekends, I don't know about Seattle Paint Supply or Best Paint hours.
No matter where you go, they should be able to match any paint chip or swatch of color you have in hand, so if you find a chip you like, you aren't limited to a particular brand.

QACC has an excellent baby and toddler room for under-threes. It's often pretty busy in the morning hours but reliably calms down at noon, when everyone heads off for lunch, though I don't know how well subscribed it is in the later afternoon hours. There are soft climbing blocks, books, play tables, a rocking boat, a kitchen with play food, a puppet theatre, and tons of other toys. My only complaint is that occasionally parents don't observe the rule that if children over three use the room, they need to yield to the little ones.

The company is family owned and has been in business for 40 years. The owner, Derek, is personable, professional, and takes pride in his work. They removed the stucco (apparently installed when the last owner decided it'd be better than tuckpointing) from our chimney, rebuilt the top of the chimney from the roofline up, tuckpointed the rest, built a new firebox, and installed a new access door on the outside. The work was well done, the service was great, and it was affordable. I couldn't recommend them any more highly.

I had a really wonderful experience with my doula, Alissa Wehrman. Her site is
http://sunbirth.org/. She has a calm, quiet demeanor. She is a careful
listener and observer, and she is very intuitive. From discussions with us
before the birth, from observing me during labor, and I'm sure from her previous
experiences, she undertood well what I needed. She seemed to know when to talk
to me and how, and when to be silently present. At times I felt her presense
and support and at times I forgot she was there, and either way it was what I
needed at that point. The one time she was a little off it was very minor - I
wanted a steady pressing hand on my back, rather than being rubbed - and she
adapted smoothly.
She also takes photos during labor and birth with your camera.
I used her post-partum services, too, and found her very helpful with a variety
of things, from bringing me breakfast and doing dishes to helping me learn how
to nurse while side-lying.
Alissa was my friend's doula as well, and she and her husband are very different
from us in style and temperment. While my husband wanted to be very present and
involved, my friend's wanted to be hands-off and let the women run the show.
While I like connection and want to be touched, my friend would be the first to
tell you that she's a little cool, and not at all "touchy-feely". Still, they
also had an excellent experience with her.
Our birth was at a birth center, our friend's was at UW hospital with a midwife,
and I know she's done home births and hospital births with OBs as well.
