Whole Foods is a great store for buying specialty and organic foods. I stop there a couple times a week, just getting a few things. They have very good produce, meat, seafood, and cheese. I would avoid going there for your only grocery store. On of the best things to buy at Whole Foods is canned food. They have great prices on organic canned tomatoes and you can't beat their price on Extra Virgin Olive Oil. For the monthly grocery store, go to Cub. For everything else, try Whole Foods.

Having a theater like this in Minneapolis is a treat. It is one of the only theaters around that you can find a lot of the indie films that come out. It doesn't have a fancy look or any stadium seats though. And you have to pay for parking unless you find a spot on the street. But this has become an uptown landmark.

You can build a car and race it on their track. Of course they have quite a bit of lego sets to buy as well. This is one of the funnest things to do in the mall that doesn't cost any money.

This is definitly the place to go if you don't listen to Top 40 music. They have tons of Jazz, Blues and World music. The prices are great too.

They are family and kid friendly, with a large dining room in back with separate rooms available. If you sit in the bar area, be prepared for a loud time. It is fun though. Prices are average for this type of restaurant.

Also their glass department is awesome. Best prices on cut glass in the city. If you need a new project, just head over to Rex Hardware, and you will find something to build or fix.

Camp Snoopy can be a great adventure for small kids. They have many rides and things to do. But for older people, the rides are kinda lame. Don't go expecting wild rides. The roller coaster doesn't scream. The flume ride is pretty cool (if you don't mind getting a little wet.) Overall, the convenience factor of being in the mall is the best point of Camp Snoopy. You can just catch a couple rides in between stores.

If you are looking for a great place to grab a pint downtown, this is it. The huge patio upstairs is usually packed, but if you can find a table, stay there. They even have a huge lawn bowling court (although i think you have to be on a league to play.) I have never eaten there so I can't comment on the food. The bartenders and servers are usually cool. If you are going at night, try to find a meter. Or they have valet parking.
