The staff at Los Altos Dental is friendly and professional. They are willing to accept walk in appointments as well as scheduled appointments. My concern is that they did not accept my dental insurance so I had to pay for my services out of pocket. The cost was fairly high because of the type of work I had done. Overall, the experience was acceptable for a local dentist.

Continental Cleaners is an average dry cleaning store. The cost for pants and shirts are comparable to other dry cleaners. One of my pants did come back with some staining as a result of the cleaning. The clerk did apologize and cleaned the item again at no charge. Overall, other cleaners in my area do a similar job so it is not worth the extra distance for me to come here.

The Grand is a compact convention center but offers all of the ammenities of the larger, more well known centers. The staff is helpful and courteous. My buisness held our Christmas Party at the Grand last year and the experience was enjoyable enough that we will be holding our celebration there again this year. The cost to rent the hall depends on the time of year and the number of people that will be expected to attend.

Corday Lighing Center is a very large store that has almost anything you would need for in home lighting., Their spacious show room is packed full of lamps, ceiling fans and wall lanterns. The staff is knowledgable and willing to answer any questions you may have. The staff was able to suggest a style of lamp that coordinated with the room I was decorating. The prices are reasonable but the more elaborate the lamp, the more elaborate the price.

McKenna Volkswagon continues to maintain a good service record despite the fact that they are currently under construction. A new, larger service center should eliminate some of the delays and problems with having your car serviced. While construction is going on, they take the cars off-site to have the work and checks completed. This causes a little bit of a delay becuase once the work is finished, you still have to wait for them to bring the car back to the lot. The staff is helpful and friendly. As with all dealerships, mechanic prices are high. One last piece of advice. Make an early appointment so that your work will be done and you will be out of there in a reasonable amount of time.
