Medieval, Goth, very trendy store featuring lots of jewelry, knick knacks, items that cash in on the latest movie trends in this area and clothing are the features of Medieval Gallery.
The store is nicely laid out, but tight. Some isles there isn't enough space for more than one person to walk around in. Lighting is a bit darker than I would like as well.
There are two floors of merchandise, with jewelry and knick knacks up front, clothing in back. We did not venture upstairs when we visited because, to be honest, the store was packed and we were having some problems getting around.
Items are pricy in many cases. Clothing, while interesting, does not fit a larger sized woman like myself, but it appeared to be better made.
And interesting store to browse through, and you might just find something that will grab your attention.

A nice little restaurant, you can't miss the huge windows on the front of the building. 90 Main offers a nice menu and lounge for evening socializing. Very active in the evening hours, and on beautiful weekend afternoons.
Yoiu can get mixed drinks and food that runs from Chicken Pot Pie to Fried Calamari. The food is good, but if you are looking for a good social environment, this is the "happening" place in town.
I recommend you park else where, off the main street, and walk down to the restaurant. Pricing is moderate and you should make reservations for evening dinner.

I have found some older, hard to locate recordings of ambient artists, but recent music trends here make that harder and harder to do. But the prices are quite reasonable for used CDs. New ones are a bit more on the retail level.
They also carry a selection of records but the gengre is very specific. You should browse around the entire store and give a look in the bins. There are some gems to be found, both in the records and the CDs.
A nice store if you want to "hunt" for a good deal.

This small but lovely antiques store located on Main Street has a lovely selection of functional antique furnature as well as bobbles and knick knacks.
Most of the offerings are higher end, quality pieces and better jewelry, but most of the offerings of this store are reasonably priced for their value and condition. The store well kept, lighting could be a bit brighter but it is adequate. And the staff is very helpful.
Parking, as in all of New Hope, is almost impossible on the weekends, and I recommend you find one of the parking lots and go with all day parking. The police force in town does love to hand out tickets for expired parking meters.
A nice store if you are antiquing in New Hope.

We visit Bucks County quite a bit. We lived here for a few years, love the area and spend vacation time here quite often. We also find it a convenient place to stay at as it is convenient to the major metropolitan area but we do not have to stay in the hustle and bustle and expense of the city.
The rates here for a king bed no smoking room are quite reasonable for the service. Breakfast is complimentary, they have a nice offering of breakfast foods in the dining area off the lobby. You can get a room from about $80 per night and up. Very reasonable for the area.
The rooms are large, not overly stuffed but in the rooms with one bed they provide a desk, chairs, tv and ample space. The two bed rooms have a small table. Both do have plenty of room.
Bathrooms are always clean, plenty of towels and the maid staff always cleans up the rooms daily.
There is also Internet access, which sometimes has been spastic. We used the ethernet connection and that has a tendency to be "up or down" depending. I've called the support people on a number of occasions, and most of the time it is not on my end, and service does come on line. But it is a nice addition to the service, and when it works, it's excellent.
A nice hotel, good prices, nice staff and good service. Ample parking and a great location are a big plus. A good choice.

A friend recently recommended that I check out the new Italian Bakery in town Pizzelles. She was raving about their Cannolis.
I visited the new store, and was a bit disappointed. Having had "Italian Bakeries" in NYC, this place was very small and had a smaller menu. And it was not just a bakery, but also a small deli selling pizza, soup and sandwiches.
They are also a bit on the high side when it comes to cost. A cannoli (listed as "large" is a standard sized cannoli) for $3.50. A ciabatta, listed as an "Italian Sub" is $6.75. Their "Traditional Pizza" was not bad, at two topping "slices" at $2.75. But a dozen cookies are $7.50.
While the food overall is quite good, I think it's a bit expensive for this neck of the woods. I had a cannoli, it was a traditional one and tasty. Also had a biscotti at $1.30 each, which again, quite good but a bit pricy.
In a town where traditional Italian baked goods are non-existent, this is a good idea. But it will be a treat I have only occasionally because of the price.

I recently attended an event at the ESPN Zone at Times Square.
We had the SkyBox for our event. It was rather smallish, good for an intimate party, though it turned out a bit too small for the event. If you are looking for anymore that 35 people, this is not the place to do it. Squished and too warm. Chairs are provided, but more tables and chairs would have been more desirable.
Other than that, it was comfortable. The Sky Box allows you to look down over the people in the regular dining area, like being in the press box at a game. The huge wall of TV screens are in front of you and presents you with the current seasonal sport. We had basketball, there was a game on, and there were also scores for other games and sports being shown so you can keep up with what else is going on.
The food was good. I had some chicken with mushrooms which was pretty tasty, hubby had some beef that was a little tough. The bar was OK but the drinks were not that strong. The cheesecake was the hands down winner.
There is also a game room which we did not visit. I understand the games focus on - gee - sports.
Bathroom was clean, and the wait staff was pretty nice. There is absolutely no parking available. This is at Times Square. Take the train.
If you are into sports, and want someplace where you can eat your dinner and watch your favorite game, this is the place. But as I am not a big sports fan, this was lost on me.
However, I can see a sports nut having the time of his life here.

In 1997 they made the Staten Island ferry free. And now folks can spend a lovely afternoon crossing from Staten Island to downtown Manhattan and enjoy scenic filled ride.
You can view downtown Manhattan from the water, see the Statue of Liberty, and you can see the Verrazano Bridge and Brooklyn.
No cars, parking in Staten Island in the lots is pricy, but if you take public transport, it is a cheap and fun filled trip for a couple of hours.
Do bring your camera, it is a great trip for the whole family.

Found my Dr. Who Comics here, and the magazine as well. You have to search through the bins and look for what you want, but it’s fun. Large selection, right prices and a great place to browse.

The selection is nice, the prices are retail and the staff is very helpful. The walk down St. Marks is worth it, but the book store is still as it always has been, a place where you can find hard books and magazines.
