You will want to look through their inventory. I used to be able to get some better titles a while back, but it seems they now focus on more "modern" material, and I now focus on the DVDs occasionally.
Location is good, in the Appleseed Shopping Center, and there is plenty of parking. The store is never crowded when I'm there. There is also an offering of t-shirts, some games - this section seems to be growing - and they offer other do-das that you might find interesting.
Next time you are in Appleseed you may want to check out the CD Jungle and see if there is anything in the used racks that interest you. They offer new releases, but it's the used classics that are worth the hunt.

Casa Fiesta offers a nice menu of Mexican food and a nice atmosphere for relaxed dining when you are looking for something other than the tons of fast food places in this location.
Located in Appleseed Shopping Center, there is plenty of parking. The menu is Mexican, with the usual nachos and tacos, but some other unusual offerings as well.
The food was good the couple of times I have been there. Nachos are filling, the appetizers are tasty and ample, I like their enchaladas, and I've never had anything other than good.
The wait staff is pleasant enough, I've never had an issue with service. The bathroom was clean and so was the restaurant itself.
I am not one for fast food places, so I look to finding anything else other than fast food. This restaurant offers a nice change from the usual, and if you are in this area and looking for something different, this restaurant will please.

The idea here is to offer good Italian style food in a fast food atmosphere, yet still provide the sit down and enjoy family style atmosphere you get at better restaurants.
I found that they somewhat succeed in this, offering somewhat speedy service, some of the better "fast food" in the area, and offering it at slightly higher than fast food prices.
I like their hot subs. Italian bread topped with various sliced sandwich meats, mostly Italian, and topped with greens, sauce and cheese, lightly toasted. Very tasty, very filling and it is not going to break the wallet.
And, of course, their bread sticks that keep on comming. Very tasty, again filling and just the right touch of "Italian" to make them special.
Parking is never a problem, but the wait staff can be a bit "pushy". My first experience there was with pushy staff, but my recent experiences suggest that might be a thing of the past, or maybe I've just been lucky.
If you want more than your usual "fast food" offering, this is a good choice. It is kid friendly, you can have a big crowd of friends, and the pricing is just right. A good choice.

The first time I ordered a pizza from Deshners, when we picked up the pie at the window I was stunned at the weight. The box was very heavy for the size.
Getting the pizza back to the office, the question was: how much topping can you cram onto a pizza? At Deshners, the answer is: how much can you eat?
My favorite is the pepperoni and sausage pizza, which is smothered in pepperoni, mounded with cheese and topped off with a carpet of ground up sausage. The toppings fall off the pizza as you try to eat, so don't forget a spoon to get every delicious bite.
The sauce is not overpowering, so you can appreciate all the cheese covered meat, and the crust is light, but strong enough to stand up to the toppings.
If you want a pizza that is going to fill you and your family up and give you something to munch on, this is the only pizza you will every need. Get out of the way, wimpy pizza's - Deshners has my vote for the best pizza in town.

Zigs opened for their new season this year featuring Gyros, Brats and hot dogs along with their usual fair of ice cream and their locally famous milk shakes.
Zigs is an old fashioned ice cream stand, you park, you go up to a window and the friendly staff takes your order. The service has always been pleasant in my experience, the stand is very clean, and there is parking, though on hot summer evenings it can get a bit tight.
For me, there is nothing like their thick chocolate shakes. And their ice cream is the soft serve kind - I like mine chocolate in a chocolate sunday. Always ample sauce, always served with a spoon and a napkin.
Thick shakes, great ice cream and now gyros on their luncheon menu. A great place to stop and get a treat or a quick meal

Got off the Ferry, was walking around lower Manhattan sightseeing and wandered into this Starbucks for a quick pick me up.
The coffee was great, the store was clean and the restrooms were clean and well stocked. But it was the staff here that made it a pleasure to get a morning cuppa.
The gent taking my order asked me how I was doing, where we were from and if we didn't want something to nosh with our coffee. He was smiling, laughing and chatting it up with the customers as we waited for our coffee to be made.
The rest of the staff seemed to be just a pleasant, asking if we wanted whipped cream in the hot chocolate or if there was something else they could do for us.
What makes a chain store stand out from all the rest? A pleasant staff who seems to be enjoying what they do. Do stop in here for a cuppa and something to nosh next time you are in the Big Apple.

You could spend hours in this store. Everything from antique toys to "back on the rack" clothing can be found here.
There are costumes, designer clothing from as far back as the 50s, shoes, hats, brickabrack and more. This is a bargain hunters paradise.
Not everything is a bargain. Again, market value on some items, other things can be found for a fraction of the price. Check sizes and condition carefully.
Staff is helpful. But to find something specific, you will need to hunt through the store yourself. Go in here with an idea of what you want, rather than something specific.
This is a great little store to wander around in, and you will find some interesting and unusual items here.

This store, while in a new location, has been in New Hope for a while. They sell armour and armourment. You can get period pieces in knives, swords and they also offer a small selection in helmets, scabbards and such.
Some pieces are for show only. Others can be used. The staff is very knowledgable and will tell you what the piece is about, how to handle it, additional needs to display or wear the piece and how to care for it.
I am not sure on the pricing. It may be a fair market value, I have never shopped around for these kinds of items. You may want to do some homework in this area.
For most of us, this is a curiousity shop, but I know a few SCA folks who will find this store facinating. I like the new location, you don't have to climb the steps to get into the shop, but being Main Street, New Hope, you may want to find parking off the street.
