Weiser Books, a former New York Company, was bought out years ago by Red Wheel press. The merger of these two companies brought back many out of print titles as the new company reprinted some of the older Weiser titles and began to publish more in the smaller nitch market items I like to sell.
The company has proven to be very stable, and doing some business with them has been a very good experience. They have been dependable, reliable and their product is of good quality and printing.
If you are looking for a good publisher to do business with, these folks are very professional and reliable.

Inner Traditions/Bear & Company is a small nitch publisher producing some of the most beautiful and well produced books I have come across in my line of work.
The staff there is prompt and courteous, always in touch with me regarding their new releases. Their books usually feature some of the nicest printing jobs - glossy paper, full color photos and well bound finished products.
They also produce the usual "trade paper" material.
They are prompt, courteous and very dependable when it comes to shipping. A nice overal company to do business with.

A smaller nitch press I do business with as a business is Caree Press/New Page Books. They provide me with some of the speciality titles I sell, and they have been a pleasure to deal with.
They have the same business terms as the larger houses, giving a % of the cover price depending on the volume you purchase. Shipping is also discounted depending on the amount of your purchase.
Paperwork to register with them was easy to fill out, and they are prompt and courteous when filling my orders.
As a book seller, these folks provide a clean and efficient service in providing me with the speciality books that I sell in my trade. A nice company to do business with.

I am a small business owner, and there are some smaller, local companies I do business with and have had some very good experiences in dealing with them.
Llewellyn is one of those businesses. They have been in business for many years and deal in a small nitch publishing.
I have had experience with them on two levels. As a book distributor, their prices to the trade are very good, the same actually as some of the larger houses. They have a set % of the face value that is for book dealers, and they vary this depending on the volume you purchase and the sales you can get occasionally. Shipping is also discounted based on volume.
The forms to fill out are simple enough, and all my orders have been promptly filled and shipped.
I also deal with them as a publisher. I have had some of my articles published in their annuals, and the staff is courteous, the editors are pretty good and the finished product is very professional. Payment is always on time.
A good publishing house to do business with if you are into the smaller nitch that they specialize in.

Value City is a department style store. Their offering is a mixed bag of clothing, shoes, accessories and home decor.
I have picked up a couple of tops that have lasted more than one washing. and a couple that have not. I've been disappointed in their shoes. A recent pair of shoes lasted only a couple of weeks, as the gum bottoms broke apart. I've had another pair of shoes from here a while back that also did not last.
A jacket I purchased for the hubby that was made of soft leather lasted only a few weeks before the leather split at the arm - not on the seam, but rather a thin spot that could not take the strain of being worn for too long.
The good are offered at very cheap prices which tells you something right off. My grams always said you get what you pay for.
I have purchased a few items over the past few years, and while not always disappointed, for the most part I think I will be avoiding this store in the future.

My experience here was not all that special.
I prefer a quiet place to eat and do not appreciate being sat right next to the kitchen. The restaurant wasn't all that busy that night, so there was no reason for us to be sat there.
The food was OK. I had the sweet and sour shrimp, nice sauce, shrimp cooked through, the batter was a bit thick for my liking, and they did have the carved up to look like animals veggies which is a nice touch.
Hubby had the General Tao's Chicken, again, nice sauce, chicken well done, batter a bit too thick. Fried Rice was supposed to be pork fried rice, didn't see much pork.
Staff seemed - distracted. Again, the restaurant wasn't all that busy, but the waitress only showed once to pick up our order, which she hurried through, and again to drop off the meal, and lastly to drop the check as she flew by our table to another destination.
The kitchen was noisy, the doors constantly opening and closing across from us and it did not make for quiet conversation or a pleasant atmosphere for our meal.

Had the opportunity to stop in here for a quick breakfast recently.
The menu is typical diner. Pancakes and coffee were OK, bacon was crispy and the service was OK. I have to say that the meal was OK.
Parking is ample, the staff was quiet and rushed. The restaurant was a bit crowded and noisy.
Because the pricing is relatively inexpensive, it attracts big families, and we had to deal with all the issues that come from having lots of kids eating in a restaurant.
If you think about it, there are other restaurants in town that are better than OK. If I had kids and wanted someplace that welcomes kids, this would be the place. But I think I'll pass on this next time.

Had a friend order delivery from here. We ordered sausage and pepperoni.
The delivery was quick, the pizza was hot and the price was good for the size and toppings.
But the tasting was what made this the perfect choice that evening. Great pizza: not too much sauce and ample cheese and toppings.
I enjoyed our meal, and the next time I'm in town I'm going to suggest delivery from here again. A good choice for delivery pizza.

I always enjoy stopping here for a couple of slices of pizza or a great hero at lunch. And I find myself stopping here when I'm in town.
There is parking in the back, and the inside is laid out with a counter to order your lunch and plenty of tables and chairs. Be aware that during the week this place fills up quickly at lunchtime.
But the pizza is filling and tasty, the sanwiches (hoagies) are fresh and the toppings are ample. My favorite - their Chiaro's Special! Lots of meat and very tasty.
This is the place for lunch in Sellersville in my opinion. Treat yourself to some great pizza or a hoagie. The prices are great for a filling lunchtime meal.

Magic Wok has been in the Appleseed Center for a while, and they offer pretty good take out.
Love their Gen. Tso's Chicken, and their Roast Pork Fried Rice is very good as well. Dumplings are not that good, but I think that's a Mansfield issue, as all the dumplings offered around here seem to have a very thick dough casing, where I am accustomed to a much thinner pastry like casing.
Service is pretty good, fast and the price is about average. Parking is in the parking lot and they are open late in the evenings for those late night cases of snack attacks.
Check out Magic Wok in the Appleseed Center for a quick take out.
