Having done business with the "biggies" I was happy to have an opportunity to deal with an Electric Coop when I moved here.
An electric co-op is a private, independent electric company owned by the customers they serve. This results in a few benefits for the customers, one being lower rates. Other benefits are an annual return on the profits made, which go right back into the customers pockets, and a community oriented business focused on the customer.
The service is perfect from this company, having had them come out to my house on one occasion because the transformer fuse broke. It was raining, it was cold and yet, within an hour of my calling them, a service crew was here and they fixed the problem immediately. They even stuck around a bit to make sure the problem didn't return.
A nice company to do business with, great service and good pricing.

Don't know what has happened, but it seems the store is gone.

There have been several Chinese take out's in this location, and the newest offering is Panda.
The food is good. LoMein had plenty of Roast Pork, the General Taos Chicken had the right amount of spice and sweetness. The food was hot, the order was prepared correctly and the service was fast. There also was plenty to eat.
It's good to have another Chinese take out in this location. And they have a good menu and the food did not disappoint. A good choice for takeout.

Reception out here isn't the greatest, but if I want local news, weather or sports, this is about as good as it gets.
Other than that, they carry the usual NBC material, and if you are into network TV this is a decent choice.
I like the local material, and watch this station just for that.

I have roadside service with my cell phone service. They dispatch a local company to assist when you have car troubles.
I had a flat. To be honest, it went flat a couple of times because it was not fixed properly. But that's a different story.
This company sent a guy out to my house a couple of times, and he very politely went to work, changed the tire and put the donut on the car so I could drive into town to get the flat fixed.
He was prompt, polite and fast. He had that tire changed in no time.
I should have taken my tire to him to fix, but because of dealership issues, I took it there. But if I ever have car trouble again, I am glad this company has the contract with my local roadside service.

My only experience with this business was disappointing.
First of all, the salesman who offered to assist my husband and myself addressed us both as "ladies". My husband does not have long hair, and it seemed that the salesman was not paying attention.
We were there to purchase several major appliances for our home. The prices were reasonable, but not the discount I anticipated from a business that calls itself a "warehouse".
We asked about installation and they told us they did not do that. The delivery charges were higher than we expected, and finally, we asked about delivery time, which again was not satisfactory. While one or two pieces would be delivered later that week, the balance of the appliances would be backordered. Seems we live a bit out of town, and scheduling delivery would not be next day, but the next time they were in our area. The truck only goes here once a week.
And even though we were making a major purchase of several appliances, there was no discount offered.
I've been around long enough to know that if you offer appliances, you should at least offer in stock (especially if you call yourself a warehouse), quick and affordable delivery and a discount on larger purchases. And you should at least be able to refer a reliable installer if needed.
I've since found this these services offered elsewhere locally and I probably will not be back to this merchant.

Click a Coupon is a local business offering money saving coupons on a website for local businesses. A great idea, very environmentally sound, as mailing out these coupons would waste lots of paper and cram my already overflowing mail box.
The website offers a few duds, but also some good deals, providing a coupon for services or discounts.
Some examples are Haring Jewelers offer to clean, refinish and provide a written appraisal on your jewelry FREE! Also OE Meyer's offer for $5.00 off a propane tank refill, or a 12 piece KFC bucket of chicken for $9.99.
There are many other offerings, and it will depend on what you are in the market for and what kind of savings they are offering. Comparison shopping is always recommended.
Check out Click a Coupon and see if there isn't anything there that will save you a few bucks.

If you live in Mansfield, you've seen their eye catching billboards, with their advertisement.
Buckeye coupons, a local business, offers a website with money saving coupons for local business services, rather than mailing you one of those coupon booklets. The idea is very "green" in my book, not wasting paper, or stuffing up my mail box. I can browse their offerings and if I find something I like, I can print it off. A very ecologically sound practice.
What they do offer is a very large variety of money saving coupons. While some may seems not very big in the savings, like 10% off, there are a couple of winners here to be had. They also offer a great introduction to some of the newer local businesses and services available here in town. With all these businesses that come and go, it's nice to get a chance to check out a new service at a discounted price, or save a little cash on an old favorite.
There is a free drink coupon for Athens Greek Restaurant, A "buy one get one free" coupon for Buffalo Wild Wings that also gives you a $10 gift certificate for your birthday. There is half off a dinner at Casa Fiesta, A free sampler at Fazoli's. A buy one, get one half off at Fork and Fingers, or a free small popcorn at the Renaissance Theatre.
There is more - from banks, auto repair shops, optical centers, salons and more. I do recommend you comparison shop these discounts to see if they do offer a good deal.
Wander up to their website and see if there isn't something there that will send you off to a local business to save a few bucks.

Popped in here on the way home from work to get a battery for my riding mower. Explained my mower, and the gent then informed me that there were several different types of batteries for that model mower, and I needed to check further and get back to him. He was very patient explaining the different types of batteries and very specific what to look for.
I went and checked, and sure enough, it was one of the stranger batteries. Good thing he told me. I went back the next day, he got the right one for me and I was back mowing that evening.
Big store, lots of parking out front. Nice folks, very knowledgable and very helpful.

When we bought my husband's car, the dealership made arrangements for us to get a low percentage loan through Empire.
We opened a bank account, which was required, with a $5 deposit. We have a few forms to fill out, and we were presented a few hours later with a very good deal on a low percentage loan.
Over the few years we had that loan, we never had any problems with them, they sent us a quarterly statement with our payments and balance.
When we finally paid off the loan, all we had to do was call the bank, they gave us the pay off amount and we mailed a check. All the loan satisfaction paperwork and title paperwork was mailed to us within a few days.
Nice to do business with a professional company.
